I was reading the article Mark Cuban had posted about startup culture as well as Jason Calcanis on his post about startups and I couldn't help wonder how without reading these posts, we have something just as fun going on .

I have worked in many enviroments and what I can definitely relate to are the colorful people that make up a team. We don't have 500 people, we have a close knit family of 23. And anyone can approach anyone to talk about anything! That's the best part, there is no heirarchy except in some business decisions. You can make a mentor out of anyone and most of all share your cup of tea with the CxOs as well. And it's really in these times you get to know the best of the person and what they are made of. This sort of fizzles out in a corporate enviroment where you have 500 employees or more and some of them you don't see unless it's a group meeting you were called for. Give me this any day over that!

Here are some great things at our place.

  • Coffee and Tea are awesome.

  • iXiGems get unlimited supply of cookies and biscuits - 24x7

  • We have the world's most used toaster with the tastiest bread as well.

  • There is never a dull nor silent moment around, we have everything from Pearl Jam to Lata Mangeshkar playing.

  • We are incubating India's dart-board gold-medallists for the 2020 Olympics

  • We have a huge widescreen and are working on getting that PS3 set-up.

  • We have evening parties (every thu night) to just chill.

  • We don't have offsite meetings, but we do have offsite fun, that too on weekdays!

  • Weekend gaming is the norm.

  • Our dress attire ranges from formal tshirts to self designed vests carrying colorful connotations.

  • We have weekly iXiJAM Sessions where topics such as "Sub-prime crisis", "Yoga and stress management", "How to raise venture capital", "Life has no meaning" etc. are explained in depth by subject-matter experts.
iXiGO is a family. You are cared for, you are nurtured for and no one feels out of place here. It doesn't matter where you come from, everyone has something to share and we love to hear it.
And if you want to be part of the family, we suggest you give this page a try. And of course bring our favourite Jalebis, it always works on us.
