JET AIRWAYS AND JETLITE ANNOUNCE SPECIAL INSTANT PURCHASE FARES ON SELECT DOMESTIC ROUTES, EFFECTIVE 23RD JANUARY 2009

Mumbai, January 23, 2009: Jet Airways, Indian's premier international airline, and its all economy subsidiary JetLite have announced Special Instant Purchase fares on select domestic routes, effective January 23, 2009.

These fares, offering a 50% discount on the basic fare and surcharges in Economy Class, may be booked and purchased over for the next three days only, namely January 23, 24 and 25 2009. However, the PSF (passenger service fee) will have to be fully borne by the customers.

Customers purchasing tickets under this scheme from today may commence outbound travel on an immediate basis.

  1. Can you explain me the logic behind different rate of taxes and Fuel Surcharge on same route by same airline. Currently Spicejet showing showing different Taxes for its morning and evening flights from DEL-BOM. Is this money goes to Airline Company or to Government?
